Dr. Chen
Dr. Pirouzmand (although a very bad picture of him, he looks much better in person)
To clarify, Dr. Chen is the ENT surgeon and Dr. Pirouzmand is the Neurosurgeon, they did my surgery together. I think surgeons are very bizarre (in a good way) people as they make such a huge difference in your life, yet they will always remain basic strangers to you. I find that a very strange concept.
Well, Dr Chen looks --- trustworthy and smart. The other doc? Not so much! That's a terrible pic! It kind of reminds me of those mugs they show on the news when they're looking for some bad guy on the other side of the world. I'm sure he's a wonderful doc - after all, he did a fantastic job on you! - but wow, they need to update his pic.

ReplyDeleteThe medical system must work very different in BC. My neurosurgeon was very much in the picture before and still is nearly nine years post surgery. The neurosurgeon also personally reads every follow up MRI and sends me a copy of his findings.

Funny Nicole. I agree that it looks like a mugshot. I actually think it looks like he's sucking on a candy. Cecile, how often do you hear from your surgeons. My next appointment with Dr. Chen isn't until December. I don't think I see Dr. Pirouzmand ever agian.
